1974 De Tomaso Pantera GTS
A Pantera is what happens when Italian coachwork gets built around a Ford 351 Cleveland sitting behind the seats. De Tomaso made them in small numbers, and the GTS is the wide bodied car, with the flared arches and the blacked out trim.
The interesting part of a car like this is what you cannot order. An American muscle car has a catalog behind it, and most of what you need arrives in a box. A Pantera has a fabricator. That suits us, because the metal work is the same discipline either way, it just takes longer and it has to be right the first time.
